Environmental Defenders/Watetezi and Ngetha Media Association for Peace developed a scrollytelling map that embraces the stories of the Ugandan Women Environmental and Human Rights Defenders living in the Itaka Lya Mwitanzige (Lake Albert) region, Uganda.
This project was conceived from the need to report on the level of protection for women working as WEHRDs and their organizations. This is among the essential activities for communities and civil society groups to continuously inform local, national and international organizations about environmental crimes and human rights violations.
